Filing a Dispute on Payza

Before filing a dispute, all buyers are encouraged to contact the seller directly in order to resolve the issue. You can locate the seller’s contact information through the “History” section of your Payza account as well as the payment confirmation email you received at the time of purchase.

All Payza Transaction disputes between the customer and the seller are managed within the Resolution Center within the member’s account. All disputes must be filed within 45 days of the completed payment transaction. After 45 days have passed, you cannot file a dispute even though your claim may be legitimate.

You will then get an acknowledgment of the dispute you just submitted through an automated email from Payza. All you now have to do is wait for the Seller to respond. All conversations between you and the Seller will be done through the “Resolution Center” which you can find in the Main Menu in your Payza account.

Once your dispute has been filed, please allow the seller up to 7 days to reply. The seller will contact you within 7 days and respond to your message to resolve this issue.

Once you have a response, it is your responsibility to reply to the seller. If you do not respond to the seller within 7 days, Payza will assume that you have resolved the issue with the seller and Payza will close this dispute.

If after 15 days of communication the dispute is not resolved, a Resolutions Specialist may intervene to facilitate a resolution.

Why does it take Payza too long to respond to the disputes. Imagine, 10 days have passed, no response yet.

Usually the Payza staff will respond only after the last day has passed so as to give the seller the full amount of time (as per rules) to respond.
